The 2023 NASCAR Cup season is just around the corner. But all the fun stuff has already begun. Broadcasters have started having media interactions and amusing promotional photoshoots with drivers. In his recent appearance on the Garage Talk, Chase Elliott revealed that he was busy with his Fox Hanger shoot on Wednesday.

During his conversation with the Garage Guys on YouTube, Elliott talked about his photoshoot experience. He mentioned that the shoot, which usually happens around the Daytona 500, was scheduled at Charlotte this year.

When the show’s co-host Chase Holden remarked that the Fox shoot was happening in a “weird fenced area, like laser tag place,” Elliott said, “They always have like just the most random setups. But they end up making it look cool. You know, when the final touch comes out. So, yeah, I think they’re kind of tasked with a pretty tough job. Because they have to create something different and just kind of weird every year to make some of those promo shots.”

Intrigued by Elliott’s description of the shooting process, co-host Dale Tanhardt got eager to know if Elliott tried anything weird. Furthermore, he asked him if he shot any upside-down pictures like Kevin Harvick.

To this, the Hendrick Motorsports driver replied, “I did. (smiling) I had to go through, I mean everyone has to go through that station. I didn’t do the upside-down shot but we did all kinds of little, you know, kind of odd…”

Explaining his experience at the photo shoot, Elliott said, “Basically, they had this chair sitting in the room and I don’t know. I just kind of did a bunch of random stuff with the chair. So, it was all good.”
