Evidently, Tony Stewart must have put up one heck of a sales pitch to convince Harvick to join the fledgling series. As per reports, the 2014 Cup Series champion is expected to compete at just two race tracks. To be precise, Kevin Harvick will race at the Stafford Speedway and the Berlin Raceway. The Stafford race is scheduled to kick off on July 13th, just three days before the Cup race at New Hampshire. Meanwhile, the Berlin Raceway event is on August 3rd, three days before the Cup race at Michigan.

Can Kevin Harvick juggle his schedule efficiently?

Let’s be perfectly honest, it will be a tall ask to shuttle between two locations in a brief span of time. This is why it is probably fortunate that Harvick is only competing in two SRX races. On the other end of the spectrum, if Kyle Larson can squeeze in several Late Model races in between NASCAR Cup Series races, why can’t Harvick? Of course, the #4 Stewart-Haas Racing driver is 47 years old, so one has to wonder about the physical capabilities of his body.

Then again, no one knows Harvick’s own body more than the man himself. So he will know where his limitations lie, and accordingly not push himself too much. On the bright side, if he likes what he sees in the Superstar Racing Experience. After retiring from the Cup Series, he could run full-time in the Tony Stewart-led series. Or he will make good on his promise to retire from racing for good.
