As Earnhardt Jr expressed his enthusiasm for the racing action in Atlanta, fans were quick to challenge his opinion based on the visible gaps in the grandstands at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Dale Earnhardt Jr’s tweet about the tickets for Atlanta being the “Hottest Tickets” on the NASCAR Circuit drew mixed responses from fans. While some supported his sentiment, others pointed out the sparse attendance that contradicted the notion of it being the hottest ticket in NASCAR.

Dale Jr’s tweet read, “Atlanta, hottest ticket on the Nascar circuit?? This is fun as hell to watch. Live, its even better!”

Fans were quick to react to his tweet. Here are a few things the fans had to say on Dale Earnhardt Jr’s take.

“I’d say from the look of the stands…it’s not the hottest ticket,” one fan commented.

More fans soon joined in to point out the concerns regarding the empty stands.

“Lol the place is half empty form what we can see on tv? Not exactly a hot ticket. But the racing has been awesome!” one fan pointed out.

One fan called out the NASCAR fans in Atlanta for not showing up. He said, “Atlanta area fans need to step up. No reason every seat shouldn’t be full. That was great racing.”

Despite having mixed opinions regarding the “Hottest Ticket” take from Dale Earnhardt Jr, the one thing that everyone seems to agree upon is that the racing was great. And it really was!

The rain-stricken race at Atlanta proved to be quite intense as the drivers kept fighting for the top positions. However, it was not all smooth sailing for a few of them as they got involved in incidents.

It wasn’t too long into the race when Corey LaJoie, Ross Chastain, Martin Truex Jr, and a few more drivers got involved in a big wreck.

As the race settled down again, it was Kyle Larson who got a light tap from behind and spun, causing him a flat tire.

The next big incident happened when Alex Bowman clipped Denny Hamlin from the back, causing them both to spin.

In the end, it was the #24 Chevrolet of William Byron who took the chequered flag to win his 4th race of the season after the race had been cut short due to the rain.
