In an interview with Steve Nash, Doncic discussed his lifelong love of football and his first time meeting Ronaldo. Doncic was left in awe of Ronaldo after meeting him for the first time. The Dalla Maverick icon revealed he had been a fervent fan of the game and had played for about five years, primarily as a striker.

Doncic recalled the historic incident, describing how, at 16, he first met Cristiano Ronaldo. He said, “We’d do like Christmas dinner with everybody – soccer player, basketball players. I was sitting with him at the table.”

However, Doncic was too scared to talk to him.

In the same interview, he also revealed his liking for Ronaldo’s cars. He said, “One thing I wanted to, you know, always was to drive one of his cars. He has so many cars. Amazing car collection. I love cars.”
