After completing his 12-game suspension, Draymond Green finally makes his comeback into the Warriors’ squad. The 33-year-old forward had been suspended for the third time this season. Due to that, he had to undergo therapy before entering the league, and after doing a thorough examination of him; the league has allowed him to get back on the court.

Green is returning to the Dubs at a very pivotal moment because they have been struggling this season and require their defensive cornerstone. However, according to a 4x All-Star, his addition to the squad will not make much of a difference for the Golden State.

On the podcast Bully Ball, Rachel Nichols asks DeMarcus Cousins about the effect Draymond Green will have on the Warriors after returning to the squad. Answering that, the former Warriors star said, “I’m not really sure, and the reason I say that is Warriors have so many problems outside of Draymond. Draymond coming back or not being there doesn’t change the fact that the Warriors have issues. So, the addition or subtraction of Draymond, I don’t really feel changes anything.”

Cousins further went on to explain the problem of the Warriors and said that he feels it is a management issue. Because they have invested a lot of their money into building the team and now the team is not producing the desired result. According to Cousins, the Warriors’ management has to take a call as to whether they want to continue with their three Hall of Famers namely Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, or think about moving past them and start rebuilding their team from scratch.

With the trade deadline coming closer, the Warriors have to act fast if rebuilding is what they need to do. However, as Draymond Green signed a $100 million contract this year, it doesn’t seem like they have plans of letting him go. But there is an All-Star who they are willing to trade if they get the right offer.

The Warriors are potentially open to trade Andrew Wiggins

The Golden State Warriors have had a difficult start to the season, and there is rising speculation that they may consider selling Andrew Wiggins. NBA insider Marc Stein said on the UNCUT podcast that clubs are increasingly expecting the Warriors to trade Wiggins. He said, “When I talk to other teams more and more, I’m hearing that there’s an anticipation now that the Warriors will be open to trading Andrew Wiggins.”

The Warriors are also relying on the young players of their team like Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga rather than Wiggins. He has been averaging 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, which shows his performance struggles. Due to that, he lost his spot in the starting lineup of the squad, which is only adding more fuel to the trade speculations. So what do you think? Will Wiggins be traded for the betterment of the Warriors? Let us know in the comments below.
