The construction of an icon-filled team excited Stephen A., with him displaying only one concern. The 55-year-old did not like the idea of Anthony being included in that team due to his fitness issues. “I don’t wanna hear none about no damn Anthony Davis representing Team USA,” he mentioned.

He added, “I need to make sure he gonna show up for Laker games,” mocking his long-standing health-related struggles. Smith also highlighted the center’s inconsistency, stating, “40 points in game 1, 11 points in game 2 in a Western Conference finals”. The NBA broadcaster then ridiculed the 30-year-old using Barkley’s comments as a point of reference.

“Charles Barkley calls him ‘Street Clothes’, I won’t go that far,” he said, before giving him a new nickname, “Six flags, rollercoaster”. Stephen A. showcased deep concern over Davis’ commitment to his teams, raising his voice against his inclusion into Team USA. He believed “that might be an excuse for him to miss about another 10-20 games”. Amidst all the drama, one question takes precedence.
