Miami Heat fans were disappointed when the team failed to acquire Damian Lillard in the offseason, but they’re quickly forgetting about him now. Tyler Herro was the trade bait, and he was still determining his contract with Miami throughout the summer. Herro has come back stronger than ever, proving that the absence of Dame from the Heat is not a setback. His recent performances have earned him the admiration of Heat fans.
Herro, who is entering his fourth season in the NBA, is playing at an all-star level this season. He’s averaging 26 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 44% from the field and 43% from the three-point range.

The heat is on a bumpy start this season. They have started with a 1-4 record, which isn’t exactly what they were hoping. Breaking the losing trend, Herro scored a near triple-double in the first In-Season Tournament game against the Washington Wizards. He scored 24 points, collected 11 rebounds, and had nine assists. Herro remains focused and unaffected despite massive trade rumors circulating.
Tyler has been in a bright spot as Jimmy Butler is struggling, averaging only 16.5 points per game. Despite the slow start, Miami can never be counted out and Herro remains committed to improving at both ends.

One fan responded to it, “You realize that was Dame’s sophomore season right lol”. He retorted by pointing out that Tyler has accomplished more at a relatively young age, “You realize their ages were the same? Tyler gets punished because he was able to enter the NBA at an earlier age!”
