The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are not having the best of seasons.  Their season has been marred with poor play and Injuries to key players. The trade for Russell Westbrook has not worked out as they expected, as he has struggled to find his footing. The only saving grace for the Lakers is the play of LeBron James.

LeBron is second in the league for scoring and he has been carrying the offensive load for the Lakers. And without their star forward, Anthony Davis, he has had to pick more load. His minutes are also up, which could be a cause of concern for the Lakers. But according to LeBron James, this is nothing new to him.

During LeBron’s first stint, the main criticism that was aimed at the Cavs was that they were unable to build a good supporting cast around Bron. In his first seven years with the Cavs, LeBron had only one teammate who was an all-star. The Cavs were not able to acquire any marquee free agents or make any good trades to help LeBron.

This was one of the main reasons for LeBron’s departure from the Cavs. He felt like he needed to go to an organisation with more structure and clear-cut goals. That’s why he choose the Miami Heat led by Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra. Even though he was wildly criticized for doing so, LeBron had a highly successful stint with the Heat. He went to four finals, winning two championships. LeBron also added a couple more MVP awards to his name.

LeBron, however, returned to the Cavs and he would deliver on his promise to win a championship. This time around, the Cavs had really good talent and an excellent front office that built a really good team around LeBron. He did leave the Cavs for the Lakers but in a much less controversial fashion. The City of Cleveland didn’t feel aggravated or let down as he had got them to the promised land.
