$150 Billion Worth Company “Asked” LeBron James to Condemn Kyrie Irving: Ex-Lakers Star

Nike recently suspended all ties with Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving. Irving took to Twitter and posted a link to a highly controversial film that contains some anti-semitic views. Following this, the NBA, the team owner, and even LeBron James have spoken out against Irving.

James spoke openly about his former teammate and how he caused harm with his tweet. A certain section of people believes that Nike had instructed James to speak about Kyrie Irving. Talking on his latest live stream, former Laker and former No 1 draft Kwame Brown readily agreed with this rumor.

LeBron James was asked by Nike to speak about Irving, says a former Laker

Kwame Brown has been making quite a name for himself through his online presence, especially on YouTube. During his live streams, the former Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers star addresses various socio-political issues and more.

During one such live stream, he talked about a claim by rap executive Wack100. According to him, LeBron James was ‘asked’ by Nike to comment on Kyrie Irving.

Brown said, “He said that LeBron didn’t have to say anything, and he said that Nike probably asked LeBron to say something, which I agree with. There was no reason for LeBron to say something to Kyrie.”

During a press conference, LeBron James was asked to comment on his former teammate. “I believe what Kyrie did caused some harm to a lot of people. He has since, over the last – today, or was it yesterday – he apologized. But he caused some harm“, said James.

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has been in all sorts of trouble following his controversial tweet. Nike suspended its relationship with Irving almost immediately after this incident and has also canceled the launch of the Kyrie 8.

This is not all. Irving has been suspended by the Nets for at least five games without pay for his anti-semitic views and his non-chalant attitude when asked to apologize.
