James Harden has been the talk of the league over the past few seasons. The Beard is one of the biggest offensive assets in the game. But no matter what, success hasn’t crossed his path. Now, with fans expecting him to take his money, the former MVP is ready to take the championship step. He opted out of his contract with the Philadelphia 76ers which has left NBA fans confused.

Harden was once the best offensive talent in the NBA. Joining the likes of Wilt Chamberlain, the Beard was at an all-time high with the Houston Rockets. However, his desire to win came in, and he forced his way out of Houston. He joined Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving at the Brooklyn Nets in hopes to mark a championship on his resume. But when things got tough, the 10-time All-Star made his move yet again. He joined an MVP favorite in Joel Embiid in Philly.

However, the story played out the same. The Sixers were humiliated in the playoffs. But this time, the Beard wants to finish the job.

James Harden takes a pay cut for the Sixers

Seeing as Harden is one of the elite offensive players, he had an abysmal playoff. The Beard’s averages dipped to just 18.6 points, 8.6 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game. With Joel Embiid hurt, Harden couldn’t carry the load with prevailing hamstring injuries still troubling him. However, with an entire off-season, Harden has seemingly conditioned himself a lot better.
