Being a prolific shooter, ‘Melo’ will play a vital role with Frank Vogel and co. He is likely to command the long-distance shooting of the side, and could also come off the bench. The NBA All-star plays as a forward, and has averaged up to 29 points per game in his prime. Though he is not at that level currently, these are positive signs for the Lakers.
