Despite Crashing a Wedding Himself, LeBron James Agrees With Draymond Green on People Ruining One of the Happiest Days of Their Life: “Some People Just Show Up”

NBA superstar LeBron James recently shared some interesting revelations about his wedding. The billionaire NBA player said that two strangers had crashed his wedding. Additionally, James also stated that there were certain guests at his wedding who he regretted inviting. James spilled all of these facts in an episode of ‘The Shop‘ that was released on October 7, 2022. But did you know that once upon a time, King James was a wedding crasher himself?
NBA fans might not know this but LeBron James once crashed a Jewish wedding. Although it was unintended, the Los Angeles Lakers star ended up becoming a wedding crasher. This incident was revealed by Lee Jenkins, executive director of research and identity for the Los Angeles Clippers. Back when Jenkins was an NBA writer for Sports Illustrated, he had interviewed James two days after he won his first championship.

Jenkins and James were reportedly scheduled for an interview at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami. Jenkins recalled that while he was waiting for LeBron at the venue, he noticed a Jewish wedding taking place in the area.

After James arrived with his sons and a few friends, Jenkins suggested they do the interview on the veranda as the wedding guests were not out yet. Halfway through the interview, the wedding guests appeared and started banging on the windows. Things turned out well as LeBron James entered the wedding venue and even went on to take a picture with the bride and groom.

LeBron James and Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green talked about their respective wedding experiences. Green recently married his girlfriend, Hazel Renee on August 14, 2022. Referring to James’ statement, businessman Maverick Carter asked Green if he too regrets inviting certain people to his wedding. Green replied that he did and if given the chance then he would have certainly made some changes to the guest list.

“You know, you got certain people that just show up just for the spectacle. And then also, me personally, I’ve just grown to a whole different stratosphere in life,” said James.
Furthermore, the four-time NBA champion added that they had to deal with two wedding crashers. He revealed that the two strangers eventually got busted when they called a celebrity by his real name.
“This is how they got sniffed out. I had a celebrity friend walk by, and they called him they real name that none of us call him,” said LeBron.
