The Golden State Warriors continue with their volatile performances. After taking a promising lead in their series against the Sacramento Kings, the Warriors couldn’t seal the series at home. Beating all the odds in Game 6, De’Aaron Fox and the Kings are not yet done this season. Amid the tough loss, Jordan Poole, who wasn’t up to it today, was backed up by the Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr. Though the Warriors fans were utterly disappointed after the defeat, four-time champion Stephen Curry’s historic night to move past a Houston Rockets legend might put a smile on their faces.

The Warriors will have to be at their best in the win-or-go-home Game 7 in Sacramento. One thing is certain, fans in the Golden 1 Center will be as loud as they can be to push the Kings to the Semis.

With a 3-2 lead in the series, hoop fans believed the Warriors will put an end to the Kings in Game 6 at home. However, Fox and Malik Monk came up big to force a Game 7. With 28 points off the bench, Monk proved his importance to the Kings yet again. Even though the team lost their center Domantas Sabonis late in the fourth quarter due to foul trouble, some impeccable three-point shooting helped them blowout the Warriors by 19 points.

The ball did not stay in the hands of the Warriors as the sloppy game led to a poor total of 19 turnovers, which cost them big. Amid all the chaos, two-time MVP Stephen Curry went on to make history. The veteran guard recently surpassed Lakers legend Magic Johnson and former Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki to move to the 15th position in the All-time playoffs scoring leader list.

With 29 points today in Game 6, the 6’3 star has now passed Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon for the 14th most points in playoff history. Curry has scope to move further in the list this year, however, it is only possible if the Warriors win Game 7 on the road. Anyhow, Poole’s performance is something the NBA buffs won’t forget

Coach Kerr backs Jordan Poole in a post-game interview

Jordan Poole put up 373 points in just 22 games in the last postseason. However, that does not look like the case in this series. With a poor 7-point performance and several turnovers, Poole continues to disappoint. However, coach Steve Kerr made sure he gave the young star some encouragement.

Kerr mentioned in the interview, “He got a little frustrated early for couple plays where he didn’t get calls… He was trying to attack but he couldn’t quite shake free… Just a frustrating night for him.” The Warriors will be hoping the 23-year-old gets his rhythm back for the elimination game.
