Giannis Antetokounmpo’s “Nasty” Play as He “Effortlessly Cleared a 6FT+ Human” Leaves NBA Fans Scratching Their Heads

It was another game night for the Milwaukee Bucks and the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center. But the night was very much owned by Bucks’ star, Giannis Antetokounmpo. His monster performance has left everyone in awe as his team also won 128-119. His team is at the top seed for the Eastern Conference (21-8), and Giannis’ game can also be classified as top-class.

In the second quarter of the game, MarJon Beauchamp was seen driving the ball to the basket. Beauchamp attempted to shoot the ball, but cue a charging Giannis. He leaped from the court and made sure that the basket was made. “He effortlessly cleared a 6ft+ human“, one netizen wrote. The crowd erupted with his “nasty” move.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ft. the Statue of Liberty Dunk

Giannis finished the game with 42 points and 10 rebounds. His play tonight marked the fourth time that he made a 40-point game so far this season.

His jump over his opponent was possibly a repeat of his iconic dunk over New York Knicks Tim Hardaway Jr. In a similar setup, he jumped over a 6’6″ player and cleaned him out.

NBA legend, Walt Frazier, termed this  the Statue of Liberty slam dunk. Giannis’ arms and posture definitely checked all the boxes, as he took flight over the Pelicans.

Bucks vs Pelicans

The Bucks star posted a photo on social media with a dunk from tonight’s game. He captioned it, “Health is wealth”. He has definitely been in top form, which has allowed him to dominate on the court consistently. Tonight, he was no different posting insane numbers and catapulting the team to a win.

It was a blow for the Pelicans as they recorded their fourth consecutive loss. The Pelicans now have dropped to the 4th seed in the Western Conference. It seems like the team has been struggling off late, with their star Zion Williamson only posting 18 points tonight.

They were carried by mostly CJ McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas who had a combined total of 68 points and 26 rebounds.
