However, for Curry, it won’t be a game to remember as he finished the game with 13 points shooting 5-20 from the field, including 1-13 from the three-point line.

It was after the game against the Jazz that Curry answered questions from the media regarding his shooting slump. What could be seen in his responses was his confidence and belief in his ability, and an awareness of what the big picture is for this season – a championship.

“Who gives a damn about excuses?” said Curry when asked if there was something going on with his shot mechanics.

“You either make shots or you miss shots. So, I’m gotta start making some shots,” added Curry.

When further questioned about how his hands felt, the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ gave a witty reply saying “They’re still attached to my body. Still gettin’ up plenty of attempts.”

Curry would go on to add about the big picture perspective of the work that he put in, admitting that his slump was creating frustration for him, but was not something to dwell on. Thereafter, he reminded the audience that his shooting, although mattered to the team’s success, wasn’t the only thing important thing about his game and was not to be worried about.
