Kyrie Irving also contributed 28 points. However, the Nets were without Ben Simmons, who was downgraded to questionable ahead of the Pacers game. But the Nets performed well in his absence and ended their 3-game losing streak. However, the Nets would want Ben Simmons to come back to fitness as he has the potential to be an All-Star level player if in form.

Ben Simmons has missed many games for the Nets last season after joining them mid-season. He only made his debut earlier last month against Pelicans. However, Simmons is far from his former self as he is averaging just 6.2 points per game. This is significantly less than what he managed for the Sixers in four seasons.
