As a 7 ‘ 1″ inch center, Shaquille O’Neal terrified his opponents on the basketball court. Rivals considered the Los Angeles Lakers legend a menace to play against. His aggressive playstyle in NBA games over the years solidified his commanding image.

Recently, O’Neal’s son spoke about his father’s play style that terrified opponents.

A junior at LSU, Shareef O’ Neal recently revealed details about his father in an interview with ‘USA TODAY Sports’. He shared his anecdote of playing a game against his father and described O’Neal’s “dirty” tactics. O’Neal supposedly boasts about his NBA titles after defeating his kids in a game.

He continued, “He plays super dirty. He fouls a lot. If we score on him, he’ll say it’s a travel. He’ll say anything. I won, but he wants to say he won because he was playing dirty. All he does is just kind of stunt on us. He’ll tell us, ‘No, I’ve been doing this for 20 years.’ He’s like, ‘I taught you everything you know.’ He’ll say how many (NBA championship) rings he has.”

Shareef O’ Neal has three other siblings. He plays as a power forward for the LSU Tigers. His brother Shaqir O’Neal is a 6′ 7″ freshman at Texas Southern.

O’Neal however, exacted his revenge on November 8, 1999, against the Bulls, albeit in Jordan’s absence. With Jordan’s second retirement spell, the Bulls were rendered helpless as O’Neal recorded a massive 41 points against them. O’Neal added another 17 rebounds and seven blocks.
