Talking on his popular show, Stephen A. Smith said, ” Here’s the bottom line. I’m writing the epitaph on the Philadelphia 76ers right now. As long as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are healthy on the court together, book it! It’s a wrap! Philly ain’t going anywhere.”

Although the 76ers are looking good and it is only one game, Smith believes they are not going anywhere. While he praises the Brooklyn Nets, the duo of Durant and Irving have hardly played together. The team has faced an injury crisis all season long and Irving is still not allowed to play home matches.

Will Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving lead the Nets to a title?

While the two players are deadly together, keeping them together is a huge task for the front office and the staff. Durant is fresh off a major injury that kept him out for long and Irving is only playing away games. Moreover, the team has already traded James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers.
