The Miami Heat have had an inspiring journey so far. They began as a mere play-in team with little to no expectations of competing for the title. Yet, under the dominant reign of Jimmy Butler, the franchise stands one win away from the NBA Finals. They beat MVPs, the best team in the NBA, and now could trump the reigning runners-up from last season. Shockingly, Butler and Co. did all this without one of their key stars throughout the playoffs.

After a horrific injury in the First Round series against the Milwaukee Bucks, the 23-year-old had to undergo surgery. Fortunately, the Heat’s improbable run in these playoffs could give him enough time to be back on the floor once again.

Just a month ago, Tyler Herro groaned in immense pain. Seconds after, he even shot a ball before being taken off. The striking pain turned out to be a broken hand. The 23-year-old was immediately sidelined and since has merely watched the heroic run of his team. Despite not being out with his ‘brothers’, Herro has contributed in his own way.

Before the game, the 2022 Sixth Man of The Year had a workout and was able to get off shots. No, he doesn’t yet have the green light to suit up again. The Heat star hasn’t progressed onto contact training just yet. Nonetheless, if Jimmy Butler and the Heat do beat Boston and make it to the NBA Finals, the scoring blazer could join them.

The 23-year-old had another career year averaging over 20 points per game in the regular season. He is a major part of the heat offense, even being the primary option at times. His diverse scoring arsenal allows him to impose himself into the game early. Moreover, he has proven before – he loves the big moments.
