There are so many similarities between NBA 2021 Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo and LA Lakers star LeBron James. Fierce, powerful, determined, vicious, skillful; these are all hallmark qualities of the duo. In spite of his fandom, Sharpe had no shame in admiring the sheer quality of play that the Greek God has been producing off late. The 3-time Super Bowl winner was forced to accept that the Bucks’ main man was on another level. “I’m willing to concede right now that Giannis is the best player in the NBA,” Sharpe admitted.

Sharpe’s comment came as a revelation and instilled a sense of the torch being passed on from one great to the next. Will Milwaukee’s fiery No.34 be able to match the phenomenon that is LeBron James? Perhaps he doesn’t need to. By the look of things, Antetokounmpo looks to be in a league of his own, and is well on his way to cementing his name in the annals of the NBA.
