Shaq appreciated the young talent but at the same time gave him a reality check with his remarks.
Wembanyama has recently received a lot of coverage in the media. All of the major NBA franchises and media organizations are focused on him. Not simply because of his gigantic physique but also because of his all-around performance on the court. The 18-year-old is expected to be the first overall pick in the NBA Draft next season. It’s unfair to talk about a 7-foot giant and first-round draft choice and not bring up Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaq further added, “He’s a great player and he should want to make a name for himself, he should not want to be like anyone else.”
Shaquille O’Neal witnessed Victor play in a preseason game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Milwaukee Bucks and was impressed with his performance. In terms of statistics, he has a strong defensive game, averaging one steal, 3.8 blocks, and 9.4 rebounds per 36 minutes.
