“Stop Doing Podcasts and Play Lil Bro”: 8x All-Star’s Bold Claim About Lonzo Ball Leaves NBA World in Disbelief
Chicago Bulls player Lonzo Ball hasn’t played a single game since January 14, 2023, due to his persistent injury problems. The 25-year-old is expected to return to the hardwood only after undergoing his third knee surgery which may rule him out for the entire 2023-24 season. He is apparently going through a tough time and may also have to think about life after basketball. However, amid this, an eight-time All-Star recently made a daring claim about Ball.
Los Angeles Clippers star and eight-time All-Star Paul George made the bold statement about the Bulls guard. This, in turn, elicited the attention of fans and prompted them to react to his statement on social media.

In the latest episode of Podcast P with Paul George, George discussed a myriad of intriguing topics with his co-hosts Jackie Long and Dallas Rutherford. In one instance, Rutherford asked the Clippers star which players he would pick as the top 5 most talented players in the NBA excluding himself. PG initially went for Lamelo Ball as the point guard but then said he would split between him and his brother, Lonzo Ball. This surprised his co-hosts and they proceeded to argue about who is the better between the Ball brothers.
After some time, the eight-time All-Star said, “What can’t Lonzo do? He can guard – he can shoot – he can play make – his IQ – he can rebound great for his position.” PG further asked them the same question, which, in turn, made Rutherford say he can’t stay healthy. This prompted the Clippers guard to say, “Being healthy has nothing to do with his talent.” Following this, the 32-year-old went on to pick players for other positions.

George’s claim about the Bulls guard was pretty daring as he can’t even stay healthy due to his injuries and has never played more than 63 games in a season since he made his NBA debut. Though, it was the ultimate praise that Ball could get at a time when nothing is apparently going right in his basketball career.
However, PG’s statement didn’t sit well with fans.
NBA buffs troll George after coming across his statements
NBA Central shared an excerpt of George’s statements about Ball on Twitter and gained a lot of traction quickly. Many fans trolled the 32-year-old for calling Ball the best PG in the NBA.
