The Los Angeles Lakers have come a long way, and it is all thanks to their two big men, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. The lakers won their 17th NBA championship last season. Although their postseason run went very smoothly, the Miami Heat gave them a scary fight in the NBA Finals. For a second there, we all thought they were going to lose it again, but Davis and LeBron’s partnership was unmatched.
LeBron James is considered the greatest of all time. So, for somebody to be able to match that wavelength is rare. King James has had some brilliant partners like Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant. But watching him with Anthony Davis is just a treat. This was Davis’ first season with the Lakers and it felt like he’s been playing for years.
The two complement each other’s game like no other. Not only that, but their friendship off the court has been extremely entertaining for the fans. While the popular belief is that when two incredibly talented players play alongside each other, some sort of friction develops about who will take what role and when. However, that’s not the case with the two. They are like two peas in a pod.

The Lakers were quite occupied this offseason. They were busy putting together a fresh roster that will bring them their second straight title. Although they made some amazing moves, the one thing the purple and gold fans were looking forward to was Davis signing his extension with the Lakers.

The wait finally came to an end, and they made an even better announcement. Not only did Davis sign a five-year extension with them, but LeBron James also added another two years to his contract. If that wasn’t enough, there is another spectacular news.
