No matter how hard they try to bring Shedeur Sanders down, the Buffs QB rises from the ashes. Last season had been hard for Deion Sanders’ son getting tagged as the most sacked player in college football. But thank god! Things seem to be finally turning in his favor. The Nebraska mishap had left the fans heartbroken as Shedeur got snubbed from the mock draft. That’s where the problem lies. People arrive at conclusions too soon.

Shedeur Sanders leads the pack on the NFL QB1 list

Like Deion Sanders claimed that he is judged on a different level, things are the same for his son as well. We saw how Shedeur got sacked five times against Nebraska, causing analysts to drop him from their mock drafts. Now, the Buffs “Grown” QB is back on track again. On October 6, analyst Pete Thamel dropped in with big news. He started with the most intriguing question looming in the college football world, “Who will be QB1?”

Which Prospects should OSU target next?

Let Tony do the scouting, you just make the pick.

To test the nerves, 20 NFL scouts had been put into action. They did their work too well and came out with the top 5 options for the QB1 position. The names shortlisted are Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders, Georgia Bulldogs QB Carson Beck, Jalen Milroe from Alabama, Miami Hurricanes’ Cam Ward, and Texas Longhorns’ QB Quinn Ewers. But it’s Shedeur who is leading the chart with 9 votes. However, it did not come easy.

Shedeur is not just playing the game; he’s pouring his heart into it. Well, his ability to lead the Buffs to a stunning overtime win caught attention. Besides the leaky offensive line, Shedeur did put up a grand show leading Colorado to a 4-1 season-opening record. His stats are already doing the talking when it comes to NFL hype.

Las Vegas owner drops hints about Shedeur Sanders’ future

Shedeur’s college football career is nearing the end. But he is reaping the fruits of his ‘Perfect Timing.’ No, not the rap. Timing in a real sense. Right after he reeled in the maximum votes for being the QB1, he surprisingly met the Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis during the WNBA playoffs game between the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty. And when Shedeur was in attendance, the discussion had to be beyond just basketball.

And did Mark just drop the biggest hint while catching up with the Buffs QB? In a recent chat, he said, “I’ve been watching you, Shedeur. All your games.” Then he got kinda cryptic, saying, “Who knows? You might be home right now.” With the Raiders’ QB situation, a lot of people think that’s a clear sign Davis is interested in drafting Shedeur.

Since Las Vegas moved on from Derek Carr, they’ve had a tough time locking down their franchise QB. Right now, there’s a bit of a battle going on between Gardner Minshew and Aiden O’Connor, both trying to step up and fill the gap for good. Now, before the Buffs QB gives his word to the ‘needy’ Las Vegas team, he has been advised to explore the Cleveland Browns option. With Deshaun Watson looking like a total bust, Shedeur Sanders is looking more and more attractive to the Browns. It seems like a lot of NFL teams are desperate to draft him soon.
