Kevin Concepcion’s debut season at College Station is nothing less than dynamic. This former NC State star transferred and immediately became a key playmaker for the Aggies. KC electrified the crowd this year with an 80-yard punt return touchdown that had everyone on their feet. With the Aggies, he has accumulated 24 carries for 401 yards and 5 TD. KC’s highest number of catches came against Auburn, where he scored seven catches for 113 yards. At NC State, he also had a brief number of flashes. As a true freshman, he rewrote the record books with 10 receiving touchdowns.

That set a new freshman benchmark at the program and ranked fifth on the school’s all-time single-season touchdown list. He was the most reliable target with 71 receptions. But with Texas A&M in Year 2 under coach Mike Elko, the Aggies were on the hunt to reload their receiving corps. They even brought top talent like Mario Craver and Micah Hudson alongside KC. The Aggies presented a stacked lineup and an opportunity to compete in the potent SEC.

Plus, much of it was also based on the financial pull. According to On3, Concepcion is on track to make over $2.5 million this year from NIL deals and roster value agreements. That contains his NIL deal with Texas A&M and many brand partnerships with Topps, Call of Duty, ONIT, Fanatics, and Scuff Gaming. Beyond the deals and the on-field magic, KC’s identity adds even more flavor to his story.

Is KC Concepcion religious?

Concepcion’s star keeps rising, and this October 2025, he made a new achievement. KC has proudly secured his spot among the 15 standout players making waves this season. This recognition is a major nod to his cultural identity and representation. “Shining a light on Hispanic athletes who are already proving themselves on some of the biggest stages in college football is exactly why we created this Watch List,” said Ron Rivera, HFHOF Founding Board Member.

“Their stories bring great pride to our community.” This Watch List moment perfectly captures KC’s impact on and off the gridiron. On top of that, KC comes from a family that embraces Hispanic religion. Thus, religion plays a quiet but steady role in his life because of that. His mother, Ariel Concepcion, has been a strong pillar in instilling faith and values in KC and his siblings. Sure, KC doesn’t really make headlines about his religious beliefs, but the grounding influence of Hispanic beliefs is part of his background.
