The New England Patriots are battling injuries on both sides of the ball as they head into Thursday’s game against the New York Jets, where they hope to stretch their impressive winning streak to seven games. Head coach Mike Vrabel has given his take on what to expect from their injured depth chart.

“Mike Vrabel says the Patriots will have a better idea of who’s available for Thursday and who’s not after today’s practice. Injury report released later today,” Phil Perry reported on X.
Besides the injury report, the Patriots also announced that they have released wide receiver Brenden Rice.

“Patriots sign RB Jonathan Ward to the practice squad; Release WR Brenden Rice from the practice squad,” wrote the Patriots’ official page on X.
Rice was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft for a four-year rookie deal worth $4.13 million.
