It’s a tough season for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. The Patriots faced yet another agonizing defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Falling 38-3, the former Patriots quarterback and NFL GOAT Tom Brady watched the game and shared his heartfelt views on the loss. 

It’s clear that ever since Tom Brady left Bill Belichick and the Patriots in 2020, the team couldn’t maintain its former glory and prestige. The season began with the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Patriots 25-20. But after the humiliating Cowboys defeat, Tom Brady’s confessions triggered many fans to plead for his return to the Patriots.

The 7-time Super Bowl champion revealed his views on the recent 38-3 blowout loss to the Cowboys on his Let’s Go podcast. Brady admitted it was a tough to watch and that he wanted to pull his hair and say, “What the f*ck is going on here?” Many fans came back to him to urge for his return, including award-winning journalist Bill Speros, who posted, “Time to come back.”

Considering his long years with the Patriots, the NFL GOAT conceded that it’s difficult to sit outside and watch as his former team fell to a brutal defeat. “I didn’t have that perspective when I was playing. This is a totally new life. I’m living right now to 32 years of playing and now, first time, I’m on the outside looking in.” Tom Brady had played with the Patriots from 2000 to 2019.

The fall of the New England Patriots gave critics a lot to talk about. Fans feel devastated and requested the retired football legend to come back. Brady said, “If you’re part of a loss, you don’t care about anyone else’s losses. You just care about your loss. If you win, you look around and go ‘alright, who else lost?'”

Tom Brady is sensitive to this blowout Cowboys loss as he faced a similar event with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he played as the team’s quarterback. In 2020, the Bucs lost to the New Orleans Saints, 38-3.

The record is the lowest during his coaching career, which spans nearly three decades. He said after the game, “Got a lot of work to do. You have to do a better job playing and coaching. Just got to perform better.
