Michigan Wolverines needed all the cheering, as Alabama Crimson Tide snatched the upper hand Michigan had in the fourth quarter of the game. Although Michigan managed to etch their names in history in the overtime, Alabama sure got the Blue fans tensed when they tilted the scoreboard in their favor in the fourth quarter. However, Michigan being a team blessed by one of the most loyal fanbases across all conferences, was backed by the ‘Go Blue’ slogans.

One of these fans was none other than the NFL legend Tom Brady. Along with being a Michigan alumnus, Brady has always been a die-hard Michigan fan by heart. His unwavering support for the team has made headlines throughout the season. Astonishingly, though, the 46-year-old star hasn’t been the only one to come forward supporting Michigan, former Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps also tried boosting the spirit of the Wolverines.

Brady was as tense as any other Michigan fan when the game was seemingly slipping away from Harbaugh and Co’s hands in the 2nd half. However, Michael Phelps mustered up his inner Michigan supporter to put a loud “Let’s Go Blue!” story on his Instagram. His band was screaming his motto for the day “Michigan-vs-everybody”. Tom Brady reposted Michael Phelps’ story supporting Michigan and therefore boosting players’ spirits.

Just a few moments after this morale-booster story, Brady posted another story. In this, he was witnessing the spectacular win of the Wolverines in real time. Despite winning 7 Super Bowl cups, and being too familiar with the feeling of a victory, Brady couldn’t control his inner football enthusiast when his favorite football team became the first in the season to secure a spot in the National Championship of the season.
