While calling out Deion Sanders and his son is a common practice among the football aficionados, Sharpe, being the icon he is, took it a step further.
“I want to see Peyton Manning would have responded to it, Peyton or Eli knowing that his dad was Archie,” Sharpe wondered on his show.

His co-host, Chad Johnson, pondered upon the possibility and said,
“It’s hard to say what it’s like without having a comparison.” While the Mannings sure had their father Archie looking over them, Peyton could have hardly reached the status of the second GOAT in the NFL. After all, he was the fiercest rivalry Tom Brady had during his career, the rivalry that set gridirons on fire.Eli Manning, too, proved himself as the best decision-maker of his destiny. While his move of choosing the team he wanted in the NFL draft, a first in the books of the league, came off as a move stemming from his Manning bloodline power, he proved it to be a worthy move by winning two Super Bowl Championships, along with winning the MVP of the season in each Super Bowl season. Now, it is on Shedeur to shut down the detractors as sternly as the Manning brothers did to further strengthen the Sanders bloodline name in the league.
Can Shedeur Sanders prove himself?
Coach Prime is positive about his son getting drafted in the first round, rather, in the top 5 picks in the 2025 NFL draft. He has made it a known affair on social media. What has been made a widely known affair other than this is his wish for Shedeur Sanders to pull an Eli Manning. “It’s gonna be an Eli,” was a statement from Deion Sanders that flooded several headlines when Sanders first announced it.
Even if Shedeur Sanders pulls an Eli Manning in his 2025 NFL draft, would he be able to prove himself, and defend the decision, and most importantly, turn all the allegations made on him and his father surrounding his skills into a mere fluke? That would be the ultimate test Shedeur would have to give in the pro league.
