The Green Bay Packers entered Week 15 of the NFL on the verge of missing out on the playoffs. On one hand, they needed the Seattle Seahawks to lose against the 49ers, on the other hand, they had to make sure to get away with a win against the Los Angeles Rams. Fortunately for the Packers, both conditions were met and the playoff door that was nearly shut for them remains just marginally open. For them to advance to the postseason, the men in green and gold can not lose any other matchup. While it is an uphill battle, QB Aaron Rodgers is still optimistic about their chances.

After the game against the Rams, A-Rod had a strong message for his teammates. He reassured people that they are still in the running for the playoffs and believed they can ‘definitely’ win their remaining games. “We’ve won two and just about everything we needed to happen has gone our way. Just about, right? So, things are looking up,” added Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers on remaining games for the Packers

The Packers are supposed to play the Dolphins this week. Followed by a game against the Vikings and then ending the season with a matchup against the Lions. The back-to-back MVP understands the severity of the task at hand. “I mean, they’re all good football teams,” Rodgers said. “Miami’s playing for the playoffs. Minnesota’s obviously division winners and coming off a big win. Detroit’s won, what, six out of seven? They’re playing really well. So it’s going to be three difficult games.” However, with the last two games being at home in January, the quarterback hopes to gain a field advantage over the dome teams.

The only away game they have is this week’s matchup with the AFC East side. But what Rodgers forgot to add to the equation is the fact that the green and golden need other teams to lose along the way as well. Seahawks, Lions, Commanders and Giants are all in a better position than them. In order for their play-off hopes to remain alive, luck would have to be on their side as well.

Packer vs the Dolphins

This Sunday, Miami will host A-Rod and company. While the Fins started the season in great form, they have been falling away recently. Their defense has been leaking points on important occasions. In the last 4 games, they have only 1 win. But they still remain in the lead for an AFC playoff spot with a record of 8-6. After the addition of Tyreek Hill, this offseason, the trio of rookie Jaylen Waddle and Tua Tagovailoa with the Cheetah have been lighting up the opposition’s defenses.
