Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers may finally be ready to part ways and move on after an 18-year relationship. The Super Bowl XLV MVP’s future destination in the league has been on every fan and analyst’s mind. And everything depends on how A-Rod’s ‘darkness retreat’ goes.

The quarterback didn’t rule out a return to the Packers, albeit with some of his own conditions. However, it might be a little late as new updates have emerged, claiming Green Bay is tired of the entire Aaron Rodgers situation. And they want to walk into the Jordan Love era in all probability.

Silverstein isn’t the only one with insider info claiming a similar outcome. 39-year-old Rodgers didn’t look like his usual self this season. And that could be a motivating factor behind the four-day darkness retreat Rodgers is on to self-reflect and arrive at a decision. And it’s not like he has to choose retirement. The New York Jets have expressed major interest in signing the signal-caller.

And Aaron has a few nudging factors that could make this Broadway-bound road a real scenario. Former Jets legend Joe Namath has offered to give Rodgers his Lombardi-winning No. 12 jersey. And the Jets rookies keep sending cryptic signals to get him over on Gang Green. Also, Rodgers’ former MVP-season offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett just joined the Jets OC desk. Surely, A-Rod’s got some thinking to do.

Besides the Jets, the Las Vegas Raiders could also potentially land Rodgers after cutting ties with Derek Carr this season. Rodgers’ former teammate and friend Davante Adams will certainly be a truly happy man. However, the Jets only need a QB to become potential contenders, and the Raiders need more than just Rodgers. Keeping this in mind, a New York move like former Packers QB Brett Favre will certainly not be the worst option for A-Rod.
