The Green Bay Packers were expected to do something on the trade deadline day after a disastrous start to the season. And Aaron Rodgers expected it too. He revealed that they were after a wide receiver but failed to land him.

A miserable end to the trade deadline for the Packers.

The Chase Claypool chase

Aaron Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and talked about the trade deadline and the Packers chase of a wide receiver. He said that he was hoping for some breaking news during the show.“Four Eastern I think is the cutoff maybe, so we are coming up on it. I was hoping there might be, you know, some news during this show that we could break in the live time. That would be pretty cool,” Rodgers said.
