Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are on a three-game losing streak. And it won’t be easy to snap out of it as they take on the Buffalo Bills, who have looked formidable this season. So, what do Rodgers and his team need to pull off an upset?

Former Detroit Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky weighed in on the issue.

What Aaron Rodgers and the Packers need to do

Dan Orlovsky is an analyst with ESPN these days. Speaking on ESPN’s morning show ‘Get Up’, Dan Orlovsky and his co-panelists all agreed that the Bills were the favorites to win against the Packers. Orlovsky put up a question about the result and all the answers returned as the Bills.

“Well, there are a lot of Bills down there and even I can’t disagree,” Orlovsky reacted.

The former QB then broke down what Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will need to do to win against the Bills. And it was a little bit of everything.“They need to run the ball as they haven’t all year and they need to play defense as they haven’t all year. They need to do the things that they haven’t been doing that we thought they were supposed to be good at. And they need to do it at the best team in football,” Orlovsky said.

The Packers’ season so far

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have struggled at the start of the 2022 season. They started the season in the worst possible way, with a defeat at the division rivals Minnesota Vikings. The Packers then bounced back with three back-to-back wins against the Chicago Bears, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the New England Patriots. Many thought that the Packers would be a formidable force this season. And why not? When a team has Rodgers, nobody can write them off.

But things have gone haywire since then. Green Bay has lost three games in a row. The defeats have come against the New York Giants, the New York Jets, and the most recent one versus the Washington Commanders.

The Packers are still second on the NFC North table behind the 5-1 Vikings with a 3-4 record. They need to win if they want to push on for a place in the playoffs. The Bills, on the other hand, are at the top of their division and are looking formidable. Both teams lock horns this week on Sunday Night Football.
