On Thursday night, Josh Allen and the Bills took care of business at the Gillette Stadium against the Patriots. After losing against the Vikings, Bill Belichick’s side lost their second game in a row, which hampered their playoff chances even more.

In the game against the Patriots, QB Josh Allen, and WR Stefon Diggs showed masterclass performances and won the game for their team. Notably, this was their 9th win of the season, as they go to the top of the AFC East division. This was the first time the Bills faced the Patriots after their divisional game last season.

During that game, the Bills destroyed the Patriots to reach further stages of the playoffs. Now, the Bills are continuing their winning streak against the Patriots, as they beat them 24-10 on Thursday night.

In this game, Allen threw 223 yards for 2 touchdowns, and his pivotal throw in the third quarter to Gabe Davis for their second touchdown sealed the game for the Bills.

During that play, Allen was running toward the sidelines and threw a brilliant pass to Davis before shaking off a defender; he almost went out of bounds but maintained his balance before throwing the ball.

On the other hand, the Patriots started the game in a brilliant fashion, as Mac Jones threw one touchdown pass to Marcus Jones in a brilliant play, as the Patriots went ahead in the game. However, after that, they struggled massively in their offense. Also, the Bills’ defense played unbelievably well to stop Belichick’s team.

After throwing two touchdown passes, against the Patriots, Allen touched 25 touchdowns in three consecutive seasons for the Bills. Although he did not score any rushing touchdowns in this game, he already has 5 this season.

Thus, he became the first player in the NFL to have 25 passing touchdowns and 5 rushing touchdowns in three consecutive seasons. The last two seasons have been pretty spectacular for Allen, as he recorded 36 and 37 touchdowns, respectively. This season, he has recorded 25 TDs already in just 11 games. With five games left in the regular season, he has a pretty good chance to beat his own record.

Moreover, the Bills are a good prospect for the playoffs and are looking for a long run, but they need to stay healthy. With 9 wins and 3 losses, they are currently leading the line in AFC East ahead of the Dolphins.
