Just prior to the game between the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons, there was an injury on the field. The defensive coordinator of the Flacons was seen immobilized and carried off the field on a stretcher. He was reportedly injured while being on the field with his team during the pre-game practice. After his injury, he was rushed to the nearest medical center.

Shortly after the incident, Falcons reported the condition of the coach. The coach was rushed to the medical center for testing. After the pre-game altercation, it was found that he was stable, alert, and responsive, per The Falcons Wire. The collision that caused them to rush the DC to the medical center was between the coach and an unidentified New Orleans Saints player.
