Aaron Rodgers is beaming right about now. He appeared on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, grinning ear to ear, and spoke proudly about his team. Some of his previous times on the show might have been filled with disappointment, his recent appearance was different. Additionally, Old Man Rodgers was even cheeky and cunning in his response to McAfee’s questions.

The quarterback discussed the difference in predictions that people had for the Green Bay Packers two weeks ago and now. Furthermore, the proud leader hyped up his own teammates on the show. Rodgers’ cunning side made a rare appearance on the Pat McAfee show.

Previously on the McAfee show, the quarterback has had no shame in admitting to his team’s as well as his own mistakes. He has been humble, open, and brutally honest with his audience. However, after fighting tooth and nail for a comeback, Rodgers was done being humble. A cheeky, cunning side of A-Rod came out as he proudly spoke of the difference in the way he and his troops were being viewed.

Rodgers spoke about the drastic change in the narrative that occurred all across the NFL fraternity. From being counted out by most people, the Packers suddenly seem to be the feared team, going into the playoffs. Rodgers reiterated his point and said, “It’s like well now what are you gonna say? You know okay now you’re going to change the whole negative oh now nobody wants to see the Packers in the playoffs.” His cheeky statement came with a coy smile. He was referencing the shift that occurred after the Packers pulled off a huge upset by mercilessly thrashing the Minnesota Vikings. The McAfee show is not the only place the quarterback has reiterated his point. He had some brutal words for naysayers when he spoke to the press as well.

Rodgers defends his dark horse team

With the Packers clawing their way back into the playoffs race, the quarterback did not mince his words when he interacted with the press. After a spectacular win against the Vikings, the quarterback took a harshly worded dig at Packers’ haters. He seemingly had no qualms calling out all the non-believers and the naysayers. The quarterback is supremely confident of his team right now.

Rodgers has been on a hot streak with the Packers right now. With a Sunday Night game approaching, the quarterback seems charged and ready to head into battle. The question that is on everybody’s minds right now is will the Packers pull off their 5th win in a row, or will they blow their chances for the playoffs.
