The Buffalo Bills suffered an overtime loss against the Minnesota Vikings, with a score of 30-33. The Vikings performed tremendously while there were some issues on the Bills’ end. The fans are holding Josh Allen responsible for this loss.

While the game went into overtime, the momentum of the game in the second half was with the Vikings. There were a lot of things that went wrong with the Bills playing. The fans have not been kind to Josh Allen and have expressed their passionate frustration online.

Josh Allen did not have his best game against the Vikings. He had fumbled the snap on which the Vikings scored a touchdown. He also had 2 interceptions in the game with only one touchdown. At the end of the game, he displayed his frustration in a very explosive manner.

The fans did not like the way Allen displayed his frustration and took to Twitter to showcase their opinions. One fan went as far as to question Allen’s chances of winning a ring.

This was everyone’s MVP choice?? This was everyone’s super bowl pick? They’re actually the worst team in the AFC East. Allen couldn’t even win after the Gabe Davis bail out call and the defense bailing him out constantly. Allen will never win a ring as long as he’s in the AFC.

The fans were not kind to Josh Allen and the Bills. However, during the post-game interview, Allen handled it maturely. Post his outburst on the field, Allen spoke about his shortcomings during the game.
Mistakes on the field
While the Bills lost as a team, fans assigned a lot of the blame to the quarterback. Josh Allen. Consequently, his outburst on the field after losing the game did not help how he was viewed.

In his interview, Allen spoke about the mistakes he had committed on the field. While talking about the opportunities the Vikings got because of the Bills, he said, “four turnovers today, three were by me”. He also spoke about the team’s bad performance in the red zone, “we were horrendous in the red zone and that’s again on my shoulders.”
While he might have been playing with an injury, the fans undoubtedly held Josh Allen accountable for the loss against the Vikings. However, even after this loss, the Buffalo Bills have a chance at making it to the Super Bowl. The question that remains is how is Josh Allen going to win back the fans’ support and improve his performance on the field.
