Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, the power duo with a combined worth of $650 million, finalized their split in October 2022 after a series of headlines about simmering tensions between them. Following the divorce, Bündchen returned to the fashion scene notably appearing for a campaign with Louis Vitton. However, when she was doing well in her career, Bündchen once expressed her worries about her professional life.
Gisele Bündchen was one of the highest-paid supermodels during her 20-year stint in the industry. However, she decided to step down from runaway in 2015, after strutting her last catwalk at Sao Paulo Fashion Week and chose to occasionally appear in ad campaigns.

To escape the rat race
Gisele Bündchen in her appearance at an interview with host Charlie Rose, back in 2015, spilled her thoughts on retirement. She reflected on how doing the same thing for 20 years made her feel like she was going through the motions.
“I felt like my life was getting like, you know the hamster on the wheel who keeps going and just kind of keeps going through the motions….. for 20 years,” she said.
She further added, “I feel like I’ve been — I feel fulfilled. I feel like I have given a lot of energy, dedication, and focus to that. You know, and I think 20 years is like more than half my life doing that. I feel like it is long enough, you know. I feel like I still have some contracts. And they’re going to be still going forward. There are still some things I am going to be doing. But it’s not my focus by any means anymore.”
Bündchen also expressed her desire to balance being a mother to their kids while pursuing personal projects. However, life had other plans in store for her.

A comeback to stay
Despite voicing a disinterest in modeling, Bündchen returned to the fashion scene in a stunning twist. She made a significant reentry by partnering with Louis Vuitton for their campaign. Recently, Bündchen also collaborated with them for a summer campaign titled “Horizons Never End”.
The model has maintained that she had zero interest in returning to the runway. However, according to her longtime agent Anne Nelson, as per reports of Vanity Fair, Bündchen has not put forward an ultimatum of any sort. Nelson also mentioned that she has received requests for Bündchen to walk shows in Paris. And according to Bündchen, “I never say never, because the only thing in life I am certain of is change.”
