Chargers’ Justin Herbert Restores Skip Bayless’ Faith in Cowboys’ Dak Prescott After 49ers Debacle

Oh, how the opinions change with time! Fans would agree that the field of sports is the most vulnerable to this change of opinions. Well, Dallas Cowboys and LA Chargers QBs recently became victims of this. The (in)famous NFL analyst Skip Bayless presented his views regarding the two QBs, which were quite contradictory to what he had to say a few weeks ago.
Skip Bayless does not hide his disappointment with Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott usually. Rather, he is quite vocal about how he does not trust the QB in major games. However, after the team defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night, Skip Bayless decided to skip to the good part where he, in a surprising turn of events, praised Prescott.

Amidst the whole ‘throwing shade on Dak Prescott’ thing due to his poor performance in a series of the previous games this season, there came a ray of positivity after the Cowboys’ Sunday win. Prescott’s shameful loss against the 49ers in week 5 made him a hot target for people all across the world, especially Bayless. However, after his comeback performance against the Chargers, Bayless changed his opinion. He shared, “As much as I don’t trust Dak in big games, as I’ve said over and over on Undisputed, I’ll take him over Justin Herbert, who was off target – wild high, wild low – all night long.” It is safe to say that the QB saved his reputation ahead of the bye season.

In recent history as well, Bayless has presented his rather unpleasant views regarding both Prescott and Herbert, stating multiple times that either one wasn’t his first preference. However, his current opinions seem strange, looking at the almost marginal scores of the QBs.
