All thanks to Brian Schottenheimer who said something that caught the eye of the NFL community, and the Cowboys are getting all the heat for it. Apparently, Schottenheimer will ‘talk’ to Trey Lance about the upcoming game. Will it be helpful? We don’t know.

Trey Lance is just a pawn

A tweet came from the 49ers recently, which basically points to the Dallas Cowboys. Apparently, the OC of the Cowboys is relying on Trey Lance to tell him about insights to the 49ers. Some have even gone so far as to say that Trey Lance’s trade to the Cowboys was specifically for this reason alone. This was in response to the 49ers’ performance so far. Schottenheimer mentioned that the opposition has very talented players, and it is very difficult to stop them. He indicated that they could use any help they could get.

“Trey knows a little bit about what they’re doing,” said Schottenheimer in the press conference. The same thing happened with some ex-patriots who are playing with the Cowboys, who defeated the New England Patriots in their last game.

If Purdy and Co. win this one, then his name will go down in the history, along with Tom Brady.

If the 49ers win the next game against the Cowboys, Brock Purdy will join the ranks of Tom Brady with 10 straight games won as a starting QB. He will soon join the ranks of Dak Prescott, who also has done the same for the Cowboys. The question is, will Prescott be able to stop Purdy from doing this? Will Trey Lance’s information be useful, especially against the team that has been custom-tailored to suit Brock Purdy?
