The five-time Super Bowl winner San Francisco 49ers are back in the game with their rocketing scores. The Niners defeated the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football to continue their winning streak, bagging 8 wins for this season. However, the team has passed through some pretty rough phases over the year, losing against one of the best teams in the NFL, while getting the best of their quarterbacks injured. Hence, the fans of the side have a lot of emotions to express about the same.

While they lost Jimmy Garoppolo earlier this season due to his fitness issues, injuries overall have been the villain for the 49ers this season as the team lost three of their quarterbacks because of that. Trey Lance was out of the picture since the early parts of the season. Unfortunately, Brock Purdy and 4th string QB Josh Johnson sustained major injuries against the Philadelphia Eagles, gaining enormous attention online with the recent update concerning the San Francisco 49ers.

The fans have been quite vocal about their opinion when it comes to the game of football, taking X (formerly Twitter) by storm. The same is true for the game the NFL arena got to witness featuring the dominant San Francisco 49ers. However, not everyone appeared to be convinced of this performance of the Niners.

One among them was a fan named Giants Daily who commented, “No their QBQB hold them back.” It was quite evident that the account did not seem moved by their performance and reiterated the importance of QBs in the otherwise dominant side.

The NYGDaily page shared a sarcastic tweet mocking the team following their game with the Eagles. “The San Francisco 49ers are going to the Super Bowl as long as they don’t suffer any catastrophic injury.” Drake Jackson, the defensive end of the Niners, also shared a tweet, “Fun fact: The San Francisco 49ers have scored 30 points in all 3 games so far.” But it did not shield the football team from the speculations of the fans who were worried about the team’s position post injuries.

Steph49K shared the scores with “Brock Purdy got drilled on this play. Hung in the pocket and got this off to Kittle for the conversion. They scored on the next play.” OurSF49ers tweeted, “NICK BOSA IS BAAAAACK, “, highlighting the impressive performance Nick displayed in his performance.

While these remarks might have lifted the spirits at some level, the majority of fans still believe the rookie QBs will come as a hindrance between the 49ers and the Super Bowl. This reaction of the enthusiasts was natural, considering the experience of the new quarterbacks in their upcoming matches.

Brandon Allen and Sam Darnold have stepped into the shoes of the quarterbacks for the Niners, from this season. Allen and Darnold were previously associated with other NFL teams as well, yet due to their minimal experience, fans consider them rookies when it comes to tackling the game.

Despite the addition of new QBs, the 49ers are continuing to strive by maintaining their new 3-win streak. Yet their chances of getting into the Super Bowl seem substantially low. Many people claim that even though the team might be good at winning, it is, as per the history of the NFL, super rare to get into the Super Bowl with rookie QBs. However, it’s not impossible.
