Fred emphasized, “I plan to expand my ideas of promoting gymnastics to America, but I felt at this time, there was a greater need for my resources in the poverty-stricken country of Uganda.”

He continued, “After I visited the country and performed a show with the children, I was moved to do something. What is most important is that the children of Uganda get the opportunity to develop their gymnastic skills.” He is drawn to his roots, which he gets from his father and mother. This is the aspect that compels him to help people outside the USA.

His father, Carl Richard, is of Haitian descent, while his mother, Ann-Marie Richard, is of Dominican descent.

Richard is the youngest individual world medalist in U.S. history and has been a member of the U.S. national team since 2019. He won the Junior Pan American Championship in both 2021 and 2022. In 2022, he earned a silver medal on the high bar and a bronze medal in the floor exercise. He represented Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

His achievements keep piling up, and now he is getting ready for the US Gymnastics Championships in 2025. From winning in the Olympics to setting a Guinness World Record for most standing backflips completed in 24 hours, Fred is definitely on a roll!
