“A Lie”- PSG Boss Luis Enrique Breaks Silence on Kylian Mbappe’s Rumored Agreement With Real Madrid

If the scuttlebutt is true, Kylian Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid. The Frenchman, who is currently in the final six months of his PSG contract, is bound to swap jerseys and dance to a different tune next season. While fans continue to seek the truth on Mbappe’s gossiped pact to play in Santiago Bernabeu, Luis Enrique insists he is ‘so used to’ the sagas that the Parisian boss doesn’t even ‘care.’
The revelation came after Luis Enrique sat down for an interview with Amazon Prime Video Sport France. Aside from discussing the team’s progress, the former Barcelona coach was asked to comment on Mbappe’s transfer rumors to Real Madrid, insisting it must have made him and the striker ‘little tired and angry’ from the media’s hype. Interestingly, Enrique succinctly asked the interviewer, “Do you know how many years I have been in the elite of world European football?”
While the host answered that he doesn’t know precisely, the gaffer replied, “Well, five in Madrid, eight in Barcelona as a player. As a coach, six at Barcelona, at Roma, at Celta Vigo. I played for Sporting Gijon. I was born in a locker room in which around it there are always comments from one person, from another, a rumor, a lie, and a lie is made. I’m so used to that, I don’t care.” Notably, aside from the Spanish giants, Liverpool has been linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

However, it seems that Enrique is aware that they are nothing but mere speculations. Perhaps we can see the World Cup winner make a U-turn and stay, given that he is enjoying the ‘precise philosophy’ of Enrique.

“I think we are starting to see the beginnings of something that will perhaps take a little more, but when it is completely good, we will roll,” added the skipper. Earlier, many questioned Mbappe’s relationship with Enrique, claiming the two have a few differences. However, Enrique himself cleared the air, insisting he has a good relationship with Mbappe.
