With countless chances missed, two red cards, and a heated drama on the pitch, Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Kings Cup tie had it all. In a closely contested battle, Luis Castro’s men won the match after not being able to break the opposition’s defenses for the first 107 minutes of the game. The referee had a busy day at the office as he gave 5 yellow cards and 2 red cards in the match. However, Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t too pleased with the official as he complained of partiality in the match.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is not impressed by this year’s Ballon d’Or. The Portuguese was not nominated for the award this year whereas his arch-rival Lionel Messi won his 8th Ballon d’Or. The soccer veteran showed a glimpse of his feelings toward the decision with a digital chuckle.

In a thrilling fixture between Luis Castro’s Al Nassr and Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq, Sadio Mane’s 107th-minute goal became the deciding factor of the game. Both the teams kept knocking on the door, failing to convert any chances. A total of 25 fouls were committed in the game, and it did get a little overwhelming for the ref. In the midst of this, CR7 felt that the official was being partial.

In an uploaded clip from the Kings Cup fixture, a distressed and fuming Ronaldo can be heard shouting, “Always against me, Always! Always against me! F**king sh*t” as he stared down at the ref. The soccer veteran was eventually booked in the early minutes of the game for arguing with the official. However, this was just the beginning of all the drama.

Anderson Talisca’s violent conduct saw him get a red card in the dying minutes of the first half. An angered Talisca, who saw his goal get ruled out by VAR citing the offside rule, couldn’t control his emotions resulting in the team going down to 10 men. However, as the battle for the cup glory intensified, Al Ettifaq’s Ali Hazazi was also shown a red card in the 89th minute.

Overall, it turned out to be a good day for the Knights of Najd who finally kept a clean sheet after 8 games. Cristiano Ronaldo was happy with the result as the team celebrated with the supporters after the final whistle. But, not all is sunshine for the Portuguese winger, who looks seemingly displeased with Messi’s recent award win.
