The past few weeks have been testing for Cristiano Ronaldo. The player is currently struggling with his domestic side, Al Nassr. His side has suffered back-to-back upsets. Meanwhile, the rumors about his dating life continue to make headlines. The 38-year-old, however, is keen to bring success and build on his legacy. Several names have come up on the table, with many of them suggested by their skipper. It seems the Jeddah-based club is looking to bring in another player from Manchester United.

Already facing upsets in the Saudi Pro League, Al Nassr is looking to add fire to their squad that will help them get back on track. According to several reports, the club is eyeing a potential move for Manchester United outcast and left back, Alex Tellas. The player is currently on loan with La Liga side Sevilla, who recently beat the Mancunian side in the Europa League quarter-final.

It’s unlikely they’ll sign the player permanently, while United also looks to offload the player. To make things easier, Al Nassr has jumped for his signature and is eager to reunite the Brazilian with their star player. They are desperate to strengthen their left flank and see Tellas as a suitable fit for the job.

Ronaldo may be hoping for a move for the left back, as they will once again share the dressing room together. However, it is still a question if he’ll agree a move out of Europe. Moreover, Al Nassr will likely be cautious due to incidents like the brawl at Carrington, United’s training ground.

Last May, under the management of Ralf Rangnick, Tellas was involved in a training ground altercation with youngster, Hannibal Mejbri. It came after United’s humiliating 4-0 defeat away at Brighton. Rangnick was not impressed with the situation as he was forced to end the training session early.

Both players were eventually sent on loan, with Telles flying to Sevilla and Mejbri joining Birmingham City. The left-back may have leftover aspirations at Manchester United, and it is yet to be seen if the Brazilian international is in the plans of manager, Erik Ten Hag.
