Neymar has always been in the spotlight throughout his career. The former PSG forward joined Al-Hilal on a staggering $1.7 million weekly. Ever since the Brazilian’s move to the Saudi League, he has been involved in many off-field issues. Rumors have been circulating regarding his bust-up with his current manager, Jorge Jesus, where he calls for the sacking of his manager. The superstar ended all the drama using his Instagram and claimed the rumors as “fake news.” However, it is still unknown whether his relationship with his manager is back to normal.

The ongoing controversies have affected the Saudi giants. For these reasons, the club has been viral on social media these past few days. The higher hierarchy of the club will be looking to eradicate these issues. There has been a lot of speculation that the club is looking to replace its manager, Jorge Jesus. Al-Hilal has chosen Rui Vitória as the replacement for Jorge Jesus. This move can be significant and might shock the league, especially the Al-Nassr faithful. The Portuguese has managed Al-Nassr. He helped the club win two major trophies, including the SPL title in 2019. When Vitória arrived at Al-Nassr, Al Hilal was on top of the table and looked like a favorite to retain the title. But Vitória managed to outperform his fellow compatriot and led Al-Nassr to glory.

This can be a great move for the club as Vitória has the experience of management in the league. However, the Al-Nassr fans won’t be pleased with this move. Will the club give another chance to the current manager? It will be quite exciting to see whether the club decides to bring Vitória as a replacement for Jorge Jesus.

Where did it go wrong for Neymar at PSG?

Despite winning the league four times, many believe Neymar never fulfilled his potential at the French club. The Brazilian became the most expensive player in the world after his move from Barcelona. There is no denying that 118 goals and 77 assists in 173 games is an astounding feat for any player. But the goal for PSG with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi was to aim for European glory, which they failed. The club only reached the Champions League final once despite having a wealth of these talented superstars.

Injuries were the primary factor that hindered the talented winger’s potential. The forward missed 101 games through injury for PSG. But still, he will be recognized as one of the best players PSG has ever seen. He had an astounding talent since he was a teenager at Santos. The forward was considered as the heir to Pelé’s throne. Then, the Brazilian was overshadowed by Messi at Barca, and on the International stage, the Brazilian couldn’t deliver the silverware the country was used to with the legends before him.
