Just hours ago, Brazil played their World Cup qualifiers match against Venezuela. Fernando Diniz’s side couldn’t secure a victory as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes provided his team with a narrow lead in the 50th minute, thanks to a superb corner from Neymar. However, Eduard Bello’s 85th-minute strike denied Brazil a victory.

In addition, despite starting the game and playing the full 90 minutes, Neymar couldn’t find the net. However, his assist enabled him to achieve a remarkable milestone. Neymar now boasts a total of 58 assists for Brazil, equaling the record of the 41-year-old US soccer legend, Landon Donovan, who also notched 58 assists for the USMNT.
