Interestingly, Jose Mourinho was among the ardent supporters who were delighted by La Albiceleste’s triumph. This shocking revelation comes from the mouth of Messi’s national teammate, Paulo Dybala, who currently plays under the Portuguese tactician at AS Roma.

Speaking in an interview with Gaston Edul, Dybala revealed, “When the final against France ended, I was in the traditional doping room, then I get to the locker room, I grab the phone to talk to my family and I had 5 missed calls from Mou. I think I called him first than my mother. He was very happy because he loves Argentines.” The Roma striker insisted he had heard wonderful things from Mourinho about Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi.

While insisting the former Manchester United coach loves Messi, Dybala claimed that Mourinho was “happy with all of his life,” and congratulated him for his success. “All the Argentines have given him something more in their teams when he had them and he speaks very highly of everyone. When we won the World Cup, he was very happy for me and the Argentines,” Dybala concluded. Indeed, this is quite a surprise revelation from the 29-year-old star. Certainly, these words would be music to Lionel Messi and all the Argentine players’ ears.

On the other hand, these words may strike Dybala’s former Juventus teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in contention for a reunion with the ‘Special One.’
