WOW! Rafael Nadal Raises Mammoth Amount For Coronavirus Victims in Spain

World Number two Rafael Nadal has made generous donations for his country to battle against the coronavirus. Also, the Spaniard held campaigns to raise money for the same. And now, Rafa and Spanish professional basketball player Pau Gasol collectively raised a jaw-dropping amount of more than €14 million for the coronavirus victims of their nation.
They initiated a campaign called #NuestraMejorVictoria (Our Best Victory) and persuaded Spanish athletes to donate for the cause.

“We value things when we can’t have them. From this crisis, what we should learn is not to get so annoyed or frustrated about things that are really relatively unimportant. Personally, I found it hard, we’ve been on pause for two and a half months. I was with my sister, my wife. For people who are still working at home on their computers, I think it has been a little less difficult. Because they killed a lot of time doing what they’re used to,” 19-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal said.

Other generous donations from the ATP Tour
His friend and foe Roger Federer made a donation of one million Euros for his home country of Switzerland. Also, he contributed one million Euros for the meals of the African people associated with his foundation.

World Number one Novak Djokovic donated five million Euros to vulnerable groups of the Serbian society. Also via his foundation, he also made donations for the healthcare institutions in Italy and Spain and funded the purchase of respirators and medical supplies.
Serbian legend Djokovic has begun playing some tennis in this country. He’s participating and organizing the Adria Tour event in Belgrade, Serbia alongside the other top-notch tennis players like such as Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, and Grigor Dimitrov.

Whereas his rival Nadal hasn’t signed up for an exhibition event during the tour’s suspension. And Federer has called off his 2020 season amid knee surgery.
