Himself Suspected of Using Steroids, Bodybuilding Sensation Roasts Joe Rogan for Dwayne Johnson Allegations: “He’s Saying That He Does…”

Joe Rogan has discussed athletes and celebrities taking steroids to boost their physique and performance many times on his podcast. He suspected Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as The Rock, and bodybuilder Mike O’Hearn of using steroids to carve out their impressive physiques. However, O’Hearn recently addressed the 55-year-old’s comments in an interview.

Fitness is a priority for Joe Rogan and he doesn’t like it if big names conceal the use of medications in order to achieve massive muscles. As per the UFC commentator, it misguides the masses. Hence, when Liver King accepted his mistake, Rogan discussed the incident extensively. Later on, Rogan also suspected Johnson and O’Hearn of using substances, and the latter clarified his side.

Mike O’Hearn hits back at Joe Rogan for not being natural

In an episode of the JRE podcast, the UFC color commentator opined on Mike O’Hearn’s impressive physique. Rogan believed that his body was not a natural one. Instead, he suspected that O’Hearn could be using steroids. However, the 7-time Fitness Model of the Year reacted to those comments in an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He claimed to be aware of what Rogan had to say about him and mentioned that Joe Rogan himself revealed indulging in hormone replacement therapy. O’Hearn said, “Yes, he did [mentioned about his physique]. And Joe Rogan has talked about doing HRT and stuff.”

The 7-time Fitness Model of the Year mentioned that it didn’t seem right on Joe Rogan’s behalf to talk about other people in a negative light when he also undergoes the same process. “It’s kind of like an interesting one because of the fact that he’s saying that he does that and then he looks the way he does,” said O’Hearn.

However, in Rogan’s defense, he has been open about starting HRT at age 37. For the UFC color commentator, it isn’t about whether a bodybuilder is natty or not, but about being honest about their gains.

O’Hearn suggests not addressing the haters

Mike O’Hearn mentioned how his name is always paired with Hollywood megastar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson when it comes to steroids. Joe Rogan even mentioned Johnson’s name when talking about steroid usage. But he doesn’t mind getting linked to the biggest movie star in the world. O’Hearn said, “I notice that it’s always me and The Rock and stuff. I don’t mind getting tied to The Rock in that sense…”

Additionally, he talked about how ‘The Rock’ handles himself when such allegations are thrown at him. He refuses to respond to the claims of using steroids, and that’s what O’Hearn suggests others should do. The bodybuilding icon added, “He doesn’t, maybe, address it. He doesn’t need to, nobody needs to address the haters.”

But in the case of O’Hearn, he responds to his haters just to see them get riled up even more. He added, “I like doing it because I know that irritates them even more.”

Steroids are rampant in most sporting disciplines. But Mike O’Hearn claims that using steroids may not necessarily give people a physique like The Rock. It remains to be seen how Joe Rogan responds to the 7-time Fitness Model of the Year after the latter’s reaction to the 55-year-old’s allegations.
